Penduduk Islam 1.57 Billion

WASHINGTON - Bilangan penduduk Islam dunia kini mencecah 1.57 bilion atau seorang daripada empat penduduk dunia menganut agama Islam, demikian menurut laporan Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life yang dikeluarkan semalam.

How To Check If A Man Is Still A Virgin.........

From: Thanaraj G [mailto:thanaraj.g@fairchildsemi.com]
How to check if a man is still a virgin~~~~~~~~~~~
A very straight and honest girl is going to Kuala Lumpur before she left, her mother gave her some advice.
"Daughter, when you're in KL and if you're looking for a match there, you must take note of the following requirements Mother set for you. You must find a man that is 'faithful', not 'spendthrift' and must be a 'virgin'."
With this advise from her mother, the girl went to Town. After some months later, she came home to her mother's blessings to marry.
"Mother, I've met my match following your instructions. My future husband is faithful because when we went out for a holiday one day, he took care of me specifically even though there were so many prettier girls around. Isn't that being faithful?".
Her mother nodded in agreement.
"Then, since the day was getting late in the night and rain was pouring, my boyfriend decided that we stay the night at a hotel. He also suggested that in order not to spend too much, we shared one room only. Isn't he not spendthrift guy?"
For the second time her mother nodded her head in agreement, but with a little concern.
"And finally mum, I know he is a virgin".
"How did you know he is still a virgin?" The mother asked with with her open wide eyes.
"Mmm..... his "that one" is new... still wrapped up in plastic, mum!"

Something the Islamic world could learn - A MUST READ !

By Andres Oppenheimer (Miami Herald) SINGAPORE
When school officials from across the world come here to learn why Singapore's students score so well on international science and math tests, it doesn't take them long to discover the secret -- a national obsession with education.
It even shows up on its dollar bills. While U.S. and Latin American currencies portray images of national independence heroes, Singapore's 2-dollar bill -- the most widely circulated since there is no smaller denomination -- shows students in a classroom listening to a professor, with a university in the background. Underneath, there is just one word, ``Education.''
During a weeklong visit, I found symptoms of this national obsession everywhere: public libraries at malls, big media headlines about students who excel academically and an education minister who -- perhaps symptomatically -- also serves as second minister of defense.
There are some things that Latin America, a region that has some of the world's lowest education standards, could learn here.
Only four decades ago, when Singapore was told by Great Britain that it could no longer remain a British colony, Singapore was so poor -- and hopeless -- that no other country was interested in taking it over. Its per capita income at the time was the same as Jamaica's.
Today, largely thanks to its focus on education, Singapore is the world's ninth-richest country in per capita income. Comparatively, the United States is 10th, Mexico 82nd and Jamaica 123rd.
``For us, education is a matter of survival,'' National University of Singapore President Tan Chorh Chuan told me. ``Singapore has no natural resources, so we can't survive if we don't focus on our people's minds.''
Indeed, this country imports virtually everything, including -- until recently -- all the water it consumes.
When it comes to education, Singapore's rags-to-riches story is just as startling.
Four decades ago, a sizable part of its population was illiterate. Today, Singapore ranks No. 1 in several categories of the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study test of fourth- and eighth-graders' abilities in math and science. While Singapore students were first in science in the TIMSS test, U.S. students ranked eighth. Most Latin American countries rank so low in broader international academic tests that they don't dare participate in the TIMSS. At the higher education level, the National University of Singapore is ranked No. 30 in the London-based Times Higher Education Supplement's index of the world's 200 best universities. Comparatively, Harvard ranks No. 1 on the list, and the highest-ranking Latin American university on that list is the National Autonomous University of Mexico, in 150th place.
How did Singapore do it? The conventional wisdom here is that its founder, authoritarian leader Lee Kwan Yew, had the vision of turning Singapore into an English-speaking country with bilingual education, in which all students are taught in English and learn their mother tongue -- be it Mandarin, Malay or Tamil -- as a second language. That helped Singapore become a major world trade hub.
He also turned the education system into one of the world's toughest meritocracies, which produces highly skilled workers that attract major multinational companies, and increasingly exports high-tech goods. Singapore's academic meritocracy starts in first grade, where children are ranked by their academic performance, from first to last.
At the Rulang Primary School, a 2,100-student public elementary school specializing in robotics teaching, teachers looked at me somewhat puzzled when I asked whether letting a 7-year-old child know that she is the worse of her class isn't putting too much pressure on her too early in life. ``No,'' school principal Cheryl Lim shrugged. ``We rank them in a way to tell them that this is their ranking at this point in time, and that they can do better next year. It's not to tell them that they are the worst in their class.'' Depending on how they score on a national test at the end of elementary school, students are sent to different secondary schools, each of which has a special focus -- be it robotics or basketball. Through a process officials call ``streaming,'' schools identify students' abilities and put them on various academic tracks that eventually lead them either to the university or to technical and vocational schools. At the end of junior high school, students have to take another test. Those with the highest scores can apply to two-year junior colleges that serve as stepping stones to one of the country's three universities. Middle-of-the-road performers generally apply to three-year polytechnic institutes, and low-achieving students end up in two-year institutes of technical education, where they learn hair styling, assistant nursing and dozens of other skills. U.S. expatriates here like to say that while America is a guilt-driven society, Singapore is a shame-driven society: Parents here dread others seeing their children doing poorly in school. Discipline is strict. When a visitor shows up, children bow. Students wear uniforms all the way through community college-like technical schools. Mohawk haircuts, dyed hair, jewelry or baggies are a no-no, even in junior college. But education authorities and academics deny that this is a draconian system. They point out that polytechnic institutes and institutes of technical education provide career opportunities -- and self-esteem -- for everybody. ``That is the jewel of my crown,'' Education Minister Ng Eng Hen told me in an interview. ``Almost all countries have good universities, but few have a system of good vocational schools.'' Indeed, the ITE College East, one of the largest vocational schools, has ultra-modern buildings and state-of-the-art sports facilities that are often more sophisticated than those of more prestigious universities. ITE officials say that sends a message to students that they are important, which helps motivate them.
During my visit to ITE, I was briefed alongside a visiting journalist from China, who told me that his country wants to learn from Singapore's success in offering educational alternatives to low-achieving students. ``By the time you are 10, you are put on a stream,'' says Kishore Mahbubani, dean of the National University of Singapore's Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, and one of the country's best-known intellectuals. ``No brain is wasted in Singapore.'' Ninety percent of 18-year-old students finish either junior college, polytechnic institutes that focus on engineering or nursing, or vocational schools that train hair-styling professionals, cosmetologists and assistant nurses. Among those who go on to universities -- NUS has 35,000 applications a year, for 6,000 openings -- 50 percent pursue part of their studies in the United States, Europe or other foreign countries. ``Internationalization is key for us,'' says Tan, the NUS president. ``We have 66 joint- or double-degree programs with foreign universities. We are changing the concept of the university from a place to a bridge, or a portal, to a much larger network.'' My opinion: Because of its small size and its authoritarian regime -- government critics joke that you can't fish in Singapore because even the fish keep their mouths shut -- it's hard to pick this country as a universal model. Still, Latin America -- and the United States -- could learn something from Singapore's obsession with education, and from its academic safety net for low achievers. Perhaps we should start by putting the word``education'' on our dollar bills, just to remind ourselves of what makes countries rich in the increasingly knowledge-based global economy.

Khutbah Wida' Nabi Muhammad Rasulullah S.A.W

Itulah Al-Qur an dan Sunnahku.

The Prophet's Last Sermon (Muhammad S.A.W)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful This sermon was delivered on the ninth day of Dhul Hijah, 10 A.H. (632 A.D.) in the valley of Mount Arafat .

The contents of the message were collected from different narrations, and there are other parts to it that are not mentioned here.

This sermon still needs the authenticity of all of its parts to be checked. "O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore, listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take interest, therefore, all interest obligations shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. Allah has judged that there shall be no interest and that all interest due to Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib (the prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived. Every right arising out of homicide in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabiyah bin Al-Harith (relative of the prophet).

O Men, the unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which Allah forbade, and to forbid that which Allah had made permissible. With Allah the months are twelve; four of them are holy; three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumadah and Shaaban.

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain right with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness.. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never commit adultery.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers, fast during the month of Ramadhan, and give your wealth in zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim, and that Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to your selves. Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you.. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example, the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray..

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others, and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better that those who listen to me directly.

Be my witness O Allah, that I have conveyed Your message to Your people."

OH ALLAH! Make useful for me what You taught me and teach me knowledge that will be useful to me! (Aameen)
Guiding one soul to knowledge and faith is a momentous achievement. It is what will earn us great blessings... (Insha Allah)

The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one Verse".

Waktu Gempa Bumi Sama Dengan Ayat & Surah dalam Quran!

"Gempa di Padang jam 17.16, gempa susulan 17.58, esoknya gempa di Jambi jam 8.52. Coba lihat Al-Qur'an!" demikian bunyi pesan singkat yang beredar.

Rasuah AS$300 billion (Tahun 1990-2005)

-BERNAMA

The Power Of Prayers & The Miracle At Dunkirk

During the 2nd world war several thousand allied soldiers, mostly British, were trapped by the
Germans at a French coast called Dunkirk. All escape routes were sealed off. The sea escape route was impossible as the German submarines and war ships were heavily guarding it. The Germans were closing in from all other directions and a bloody massacre was expected the next day. No one was expected to live. The British PM, Winston Churchill told the nation, "There is only one hope. Let's all pray for them."

Throughout that day and night the whole of Britain prayed for them.

Special masses and prayers were conducted in every church. That night, suddenly, there was a heavy and dense fog. It was totally the wrong season for fog and it never happened before. Under the cover of the heavy fog, the British ships crossed the French channel as the German subs and war ships could not detect them in the fog and rescued each and every one of the soldiers. As soon as the ships returned home, the fog vanished.

How and why the heavy fog formed and vanished is still one of the biggest meteorological mysteries.

Tsunami - The Speed Of 747 Jumbo Jet

WASHINGTON: Science and geography combined so that the residents of American Samoa did not stand much of a chance.
Almost all the conditions that trigger bad tsunamis were in place this week (30 September 20090, producing waves that roared toward the island territory at the speed of a 747 jumbo jet.
There was nothing to slow it down.
It started with the type of earthquake that tends to generate the strongest tsunamis.
It was one of the biggest on record for that type of seismic disruption.
It shook just below the ocean floor, under thousands of feet (meters) of water, causing huge waves.
That deeper water meant greater speed for the tsunami. American Samoa was about 125 miles (200 kilometers) from the epicenter and at just the right angle, leaving little time for people to get to high ground. - AP

FOOD INGREDIENT NUMBERS:

http://special.worldofislam.info/Food/numbers.html

E-Numbers represent specific food additives, used by the food industry in the manufacture of various food products. These E-Numbers have been formulated by the European Economic Community (EEC) and are universally adopted by the food industry worldwide. It is known that many E-numbers contain unlisted haraam ingredients in them. Generally additives derived from animals and insects.
E-numbers are reference numbers used by the European Union to facilitate identification of food additives. All food additives used in the European Union are identified by an E-number. The "E" stands for "Europe" or "European Union". Normally each food additive is assigned a unique number, though occasionally, related additives are given an extension ("a", "b", or "i", "ii") to another E-number.
The Commission of the European Union assigns e-numbers after the additive is cleared by the Scientific Committee on Food (SCF), the body responsible for the safety evaluation of food additives in the European Union. The convention for assigning E-numbers is:
100-199
food colors
200-299
preservatives
300-399
antioxidants, phosphates, and complexing agents
400-499
thickeners, gelling agents, phosphates, humectants, emulsifiers
500-599
salts and related compounds
600-699
flavor enhancers
700-899
not used for food additives (used for feed additives)
900-999
surface coating agents, gases, sweeteners
1000-1399
miscellaneous additive
1400-1499
starch derivatives

Additives which are ALWAYS of animal origin, such as (HARAAM):
E120 Cochineal : a red colour obtained from female insects
E441 Gelatine : derived from the bones and/ or hides of cattle and/ or pigs
E542 Edible Bone Phosphate : an extract from animal bones
E904 Shellac : a resin from the lac insectWhilst some additives with a common code such as E47, can be either of animal or plant origin and this latter type needs to be investigated on a case-by-case basis per product/ manufacturer.

The main additives you need to be aware of are:
Glycerol / Glycerin / Glycerine (E422) - haraam if obtained from pork or non-halal meat sources.
Emulsifiers (E470 to E483) - haraam if obtained from pork or non-halal sources.
Edible Bone Phosphate (E542) - haraam if obtained from pork or non-halal meat sources.

Maklumat E471

Sumber:
http://www.iluvislam.com/v1/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=73&thread_id=6973

E471 adalah emulsifier, derived from fatty acids.

Az-Zakah - The Obligatory Charity

by Shaykh Abu Bakr Jabir al-Jaza'iry
Legal Ruling
Allah (Subhanuhu Wa-Ta'ala) has obligated Zakah upon every Muslim who possesses a minimum amount of wealth, according to some conditions.
Allah (Subhanuhu Wa-Ta'ala) made Zakah obligatory in His Book by His statement;Take from their wealth Sadaqah in order to purify them and sanctify them with it. [9:103]
And His statement: O you who believe! Spend from the good things which you have (legally) earned, and of that which We have produced from the earth for you.(2:267)
And His statement: And establish the prayer (Salah) and pay the obligatory charity (Zakah). (73:20)

Zakah was also made obligatory by the statement of the Messenger (sall'Allahu alaihi wa sallam): lslam was built upon five (pillars): The testimony that none has the right to be worshipped hut Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, the establishment of the prayer (Salah), paying the obligatory charity (Zakah), pilgrimage to the House (Hajj to the Ka'bah in Makkah) and fasting (the month of) Ramadhan.) (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

And his statement: I was commanded to fight the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establish the prayer and pay the obligatory charity (Zakah) If they do that, then they have protected their blood and wealth from me, except according to the right of Islam, and their reckoning is with Allah . (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

And his statement in advising Mu'adh when he sent him to Yemen: Verily you are going to a people who are People of the Scripture, so invite them to the testimony that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and I (Muhammad sall'Allahu alaihi wa sallam) am the Messenger of Allah. If they obey you in that, inform them that Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has obligated them to (pray) five prayers every day and night. If they obey you, then inform them that He has obligated them to give charity from their wealth that is to be taken from their wealthy and given to their poor. If they obey you in that, then stay away from (taking) the best of their wealth. And beware of the supplication of the oppressed person, for verily there is no veil between it and Allah. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

It's Wisdom
The following are some of the points derived from the wisdom of legislating Zakah:
Purification of the human soul from the vices of stinginess, greed, covetousness and lustfulness.
Comforting the poor and fulfilling the needs of the needy, distraught and deprived people.
Establishing comprehensive benefits that the life of the Muslim community (Ummah) and its happiness depend upon.
Limiting the inflation of wealth among the wealthy, and at the hands of the businessmen and merchants. This is so that the wealth will not be restricted solely to one limited group of people, nor controlled by only the wealthy.

The Ruling of One Who Refuses to Pay Zakah
Whoever refuses to pay Zakah, while denying its obligation, has disbelieved. Whoever refuses to pay Zakah due to stinginess, while affirming its obligation, has committed a sin. In this case Zakah is taken from such a person by force and he is also given some disciplinary punishment. If he fights in refusing to give it, he is fought until he submits to the command of Allah (Subhanuhu Wa-Ta'ala) and pays Zakah.
This is due to Allah the Almighty's statement: So if they repent, establish the prayer and give Zakah then they are your brethren in religion. (9:11)

This is also due to the Prophet's statement: I was commanded to fight the people until they teshfy that none has right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establish the prayer and pay Zakah. If they do this, then they have protected their blood and wealth from me, except by the right of Islam, and their reckoning is with Allah. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Likewise, concerning fighting those who refused to pay Zakah, Abu Bakr As-Siddiq said: "By Allah, if they refuse to give me (of Zakah) a young she-goat that they used to give to Allah's Messenger .. I will fight them for it." (Al-Bukhari)
In this situation the Companions agreed with him (Abu Bakr) about this, so there was a consensus among them.
Taken from the book Minhaj Al-Muslim vol.2, published by Dar-us-Salam Publications

Dear Brother and sister in Islam,
Islam is the religion of equality
This is a month when Muslims across the world join in unity to perform prayers and fasting. No doubt you will agree that we must also unite to help all the poor and suffering throughout the world. Zakat Al-Maal is the third pillar of Islam and is a mandatory payment required of every Muslim who meets the requirements for paying it. It testifies to the genuineness of a Muslim's faith.

In the Holy Qur'an, Allah (Subhanuhu Wa-Ta'ala) says,
"Those who establish prayers and spend from that which we have bestowed upon them, these are the true believers. They will have [lofty] grades of honor with their Lord, and forgiveness, and a generous provision." [8:3-4]

In addition to helping the weak and downtrodden, Zakat also serves to purify the soul and bless the wealth. It also strives to eliminate envy and greed as well as improve an individual's social spirit, as the
Prophet (sall'Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said, "Charity extinguishes sin as water extinguishes fire." [Ahmed: Muadh 21116]

Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: "Pay the Zakaat so that your Islam becomes complete." [Al-Bazzar].
And Qur'an says: "Give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given you." [Soorah an-Noor (24): 33]
Bear in mind as well that thousands of needy people have been waiting the whole year for this moment. Your Zakat will truly make a difference. InshaAllah!

OH ALLAH! Make useful for me what You taught meand teach me knowledge that will be useful to me!

Don't Count The Years, Count The Memories!

I've Learned

I've learned.....That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.

I've learned....That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.

I've learned....That when you're in love, it shows.

I've learned....That just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.

I've learned....That being kind is more important than being right.

I've learned....That you should never say "no" to a gift from a child.

I've learned....That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.

I've learned....That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.

I've learned....That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
I've learned....That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.

I've learned....That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
I've learned....That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I've learned....That money doesn't buy class.

I've learned....That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I've learned...That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.

I've learned....That the Lord didn't do it all in one day. What makes me think I can?

I've learned....That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.

I Am Israel - Lord Of The Ring

VIDEO: “I am Israel” – EXPLOSIVE - September 13, 2009The following is a short, succinct article that tells a lot, written by Hashem Said, a young Palestinian student in Washington State University, for which the paper - under pressure, as usual, from pro-Israeli activists - had to apologize.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4gymxY2zM8
Editor’s comment: Written by Hashem Said on 25 February 2002 in response to Michael Jackson’s “They don’t care about us”. Seven years later, the reality is more horrific (if that is possible), more hopeless and an even greater indictment on the world’s leaders and people everywhere who look the other way and fall over each other to give Israel the adulation it craves. How can we see what is happening and not scream out for it all to stop?

I am IsraelHashem SaidThe Daily of the University of WashingtonMon, 25 Feb 2002 23:29 UTC I am Israel - I came to a land without a people for a people without a land. Those people who happened to be here, had no right to be here, and my people showed them they had to leave or die, razing 480 Palestinian villages to the ground, erasing their history.

I am Israel - some of my people committed massacres and later became Prime Ministers to represent me. In 1948, Menachem Begin was in charge of the unit that slaughtered the inhabitants of Deir Yassin, including 100 men, women, and children. In 1953, Ariel Sharon led the slaughter of the inhabitants of Qibya, and in 1982 arranged for our allies to butcher around 2,000 in the refugee camps of Sabra and Shatilla.

I am Israel - carved in 1948 out of 78% of the land of Palestine, dispossessing its inhabitants and replacing them with Jews from Europe and other parts of theworld. While the natives whose families lived on this land for thousands of years are not allowed to return, Jews from all over the world are welcome to instantcitizenship.I am Israel - in 1967, I swallowed the remaining lands of Palestine - the West Bank and Gaza - and placed their inhabitants under an oppressive military rule, controlling and humiliating every aspect of their daily lives. Eventually, they should get the message that they are not welcome to stay, and join themillions of Palestinian refugees in the shanty camps of Lebanon and Jordan.

I am Israel - I have the power to control American policy. My American Israel Public Affairs Committee can make or break any politician of its choosing, andas you see, they all compete to please me. All the forces of the world are powerless against me, including the UN as I have the American veto to blockany condemnation of my war crimes. As Sharon so eloquently phrased it, “We control America”.

I am Israel - I influence American mainstream media too, and you will always find the news tailored to my favor. I have invested millions of dollars into PRrepresentation, and CNN, New York Times, and others have been doing an excellent job of promoting my propaganda. Look at other international news sources and you will see the difference.

I am Israel - and you Palestinians want to negotiate “peace!?” But you are not as smart as me; I will negotiate, but will only let you have your municipalities while I control your borders, your water, your airspace, and anything else of importance. While we “negotiate,” I will swallow your hilltops and fill them with settlements, populated by the most extremist of my extremists, armed to the teeth. Thesesettlements will be connected with roads you cannot use, and you will be imprisoned in your little Bantustans between them, surrounded by checkpoints inevery direction.

I am Israel - with the fourth strongest army in the world, possessing nuclear weapons. How dare your children confront my oppression with stones, don’t youknow my soldiers won’t hesitate to blow their heads off? In 17 months, I have killed 900 of you and injured 17,000, mostly civilians, and have the mandateto continue since the international community remains silent. Ignore, as I do, the hundreds of Israeli soldiers who are now refusing to carry out my controlover your lands and people; their voices of conscience will not protect you.

I am Israel - and you want freedom? I have bullets, tanks, missiles, Apaches, and F-16’s, to obliterate you. I have placed your towns under siege, confiscatedyour lands, uprooted your trees, demolished your homes, and you still demand freedom? Don’t you get the message? You will never have peace or freedom, because I am Israel.

Qunut Nazilah

January 2000 image taken by the Hubble Space Telescope of Keyhole Nebula NGC 1999, a nebula in the constellation Orion, about 1,500 light-years from the Earth, in a region of our Milky Way galaxy where new stars are formed actively. The nebula shines because the light from an embedded source illuminates its dust; the nebula does not emit any visible light of its own. The nebula is iluminated by a bright, recently formed star, visible to the left of center. Its mass is estimated to be 3.5 times that of the Sun.

An image of a pillar of gas and dust. Called the Cone Nebula (NGC 2264) because in ground-based images it has a conical shape, this giant pillar resides in a turbulent star-forming region. This picture, taken April 2, 2002, by the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS) aboard NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, shows the upper 2.5 light-yearsof the nebula, a height that equals 23 million roundtrips to the Moon. The entire nebula is 7 light-years long. The Cone Nebula resides 2,500 light-years away in the constellation Monoceros.

An image of the center of the Omega Nebula, a hotbed of newly born stars wrapped in colorful blankets of glowing gas and cradled in an enormous cold, dark hydrogen cloud. This stunning picture was taken April 1 and 2, 2002 by the Advanced Camera for Surveys aboard NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. The region of the nebula shown in this photograph is about 3,500 times wider than our solar system. The nebula, also called M17 and the Swan Nebula, resides 5,500 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius.

Resembling the fury of a raging sea, this image actually shows a bubbly ocean of glowing hydrogen gas and small amounts of other elements such as oxygen and sulfur. The photograph, taken by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope on May 29-30, 1999, captures a small region within M17, a hotbed of star formation. M17, also known as the Omega or Swan Nebula, is located about 5,500 light-years away in the constellation Sagittarius. The image was released to commemorate the thirteenth anniversary of Hubble's launch on April 24, 1990.

This image captured by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope's Wide Field and Planetary Camera-2 and released in 2001 shows an unusual edge-on galaxy, revealing details of its warped dusty disk and showing how colliding galaxies spawn the formation of new generations of stars. During observations of the galaxy the camera, designed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, passed a milestone taking its 100,000th image since shuttle astronauts installed it in the Hubble in 1993.

An image taken by the refurbished Hubble Space Telescope shows a clash among members of a famous galaxy quintet reveals an assortment of stars across a wide color range, from young, blue stars to aging, red stars.

An image taken by the refurbished Hubble Space Telescope shows Gravitational Lensing in Galaxy Cluster Abell 370.

An image taken by the refurbished Hubble Space Telescope, shows the planet Jupiter

An image taken by the refurbished Hubble Space Telescope shows a panoramic view of a colorful assortment of 100,000 stars residing in the crowded core of a giant star cluster, Globular Star Cluster Omega Centauri.

An image taken by the refurbished Hubble Space Telescope shows Barred Spiral Galaxy NGC 6217.

This NASA Hubble Space Telescope image creates a picture composed of gas and dust, the pillar resides in a tempestuous stellar nursery called the Carina Nebula, located 7,500 light-years away in the southern constellation Carina. The image shows that astronomers are given a much more complete view of the pillar and its contents when distinct details not seen at visible wavelengths are uncovered in near-infrared light. Scorching radiation and fast winds (streams of charged particles) from these stars are sculpting the pillar and causing new stars to form within it. Streamers of gas and dust can be seen flowing off the top of the structure.

This image shows the planetary nebula, catalogued as NGC 6302, but more popularly called the Bug Nebula or the Butterfly Nebula. The Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3), a new camera aboard NASA's Hubble Space Telescope was installed by NASA astronauts in May 2009, during the servicing mission to upgrade and repair the 19-year-old Hubble telescope. NGC 6302 lies within our Milky Way galaxy, roughly 3,800 light-years away in the constellation Scorpius. The glowing gas is the star's outer layers, expelled over about 2,200 years. The "butterfly" stretches for more than two light-years, which is about half the distance from the Sun to the nearest star, Alpha Centauri.

Semua Orang Tau...Tut..Tut..Tut...

From: "MD JAM, SALINI"
Kadang kala
ketika kita menangis
tiada orang nampak tangisan kita ...tawa dalam tangisan
Kadang kala
ketika kita sedang menderita
tiada orang nampak derita kita...senyum dalam kepayahan
Kadang kala
ketika kita risau
tiada org nampak kerisauan kita
Kadang kala
ketika kita gembira
tiada org nampak kegembiraan kita
